Christine Mellick
Lead Attorney and Owner of SLS, PLLC
I grew up on a small, family-run, Native American-owned farm in Worley, ID. Farming gave me solid work ethic but also taught me that I'd rather spend summers inside with air conditioning. I now live in Spokane with my husband, pack of dogs, and my father.
With extensive experience as an In-house Counsel for the Coeur d'alene, Tohono O'odham and Kalispel Tribes, I am well-versed in the legal issues that arise in Indian Country. I have experience with Indian Trust Land, contracts, probate, taxation of individual Indians and tribes, natural resources, family law, debt defense and collection, General Welfare Law, and more. I have practiced in tribal, state, and administrative courts. My mission is to provide legal services with the highest level of knowledge, skill, and commitment to the Tribes and Individuals of Indian Country.
